What is Reiki?
Reiki is a loving energy consisting of the same universal life force with all of us. Reiki treatments address imbalances on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.
They encourage harmony and unity to restore the natural ability of our cells to heal and create balance.
It’s unsure exactly what animals feel when receiving Reiki, but they do become quieter and more relaxed. They seem to recognize this energy and understand that they are being helped.

What to Expect
Initial sessions are approximately 90 minutes. This creates space for time getting acquainted with you and your pet, and allows your pet time to get comfortable with me. We’ll briefly review your intake form and make sure you’ve signed a consent form before I begin offering Reiki.
It will also include time to discuss what’s uncovered during our session, afterward, and address any questions you have. We’ll go over my best recommendations to support your companion moving forward, and make sure you know what to expect in the hours and days that follow a Reiki session.
Reiki can be offered in a hands-on or hands-off manner, depending on your pet’s needs—both are equally as effective.
Clients commonly leave the room once their pets begin to relax, which helps the animal settle into their energy (and disconnect from the energy of their person) for the deepest benefit to them.*However, every session is adapted to your unique needs and comfort—you are welcome to remain with your pet for the duration of the session if you prefer.
Animals typically get their “fill” with Reiki energy more quickly than most humans and benefit from more frequent treatments. Most follow-up sessions will only require 30 - 60 minutes.
Distance Animal Reiki sessions can also be performed upon request and can be as beneficial as in-person care.
